ANNOUNCES FIRST ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST
NEWBURYPORT, MA – The Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and Industry announces their first annual Oktoberfest. This family friendly event will take place on Saturday, October 15 from 12 – 6 PM at the Bartlet Mall. The event will feature a traditional German beer garden under the tent with authentic German food and baked goods. The event will also feature German music by the Mad Bavarian band and will also provide family friendly entertainment including the Roaming Railroad, a Merry Go Round, carnival games and other child friendly activities. To date, sponsors include lead sponsor – TD Bank and participating sponsors include Fritz, DeGuglielmo, LLC, CPAs.
This family friendly event is intended for the whole family and games, rides and entertainment will be provided. Admission is free but there is a fee for beer, food and rides and games. The event will be held rain or shine. Mark your calendar for the Second Annual Brew at the Zoo!
Brew at the Zoo promises to be the not-to-be missed
beer tasting event in Boston
WHAT: Brew at the Zoo is a “beer tasting” event that features stations hosted by local breweries as well as an opportunity to stroll among the animals in the signature Tropical Forest, which is home to gorillas, lemurs, and many other species. Participating breweries include Berkshire Brewing Company, Blue Hills Brewery, Clown Shoes Beer, John Harvard’s Brew House, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Long Trail Brewing Company, Narragansett, Peak Organic Brewing Company, Samuel Adams and Watch City Brewing Co. Brew at the Zoo will also feature musical entertainment.
John Harvard’s Brew House is sponsoring and providing all of the food for the event.
Given the popularity of Franklin Park Zoo, the Second Annual Brew at the Zoo promises to be the not-to-be missed beer tasting event in Boston! Proceeds from Brew at the Zoo will support the operation and continued growth of Franklin Park Zoo, its education programs and conservation initiatives.
This is a 21+ event. All guests must have a valid ID.
